Finally Making Sourdough (And Loving It)

Yes! I did!
My system doesn’t handle gluten or wheat, so between that and the erroneous thinking that I “couldn’t make sourdough bread because I don’t have time”, have kept me from diving in.
My Mom is a sourdough bread MASTER so she would always make bread and fill our freezer when she was here visiting.
This last trip she showed me how, again… I’ve lost track of how many times she’s shown me.
And it clicked… it really doesn’t take that much time, it’s just a timing thing. And I get to choose how I juggle it in.
So, you guessed it!
Today, I made my first batch of sourdough and it’s a WIN! 🎉 🍞
Sage wanted some sandwich bread so I mixed the shapes.
I’m so proud of myself!
Isn’t it wild how we can make up stories around everything?!
Nothing to fear here, and now our family will have organic, home made sourdough bread whenever we want it, however we want it.
It’s truly a miracle that water, flour, a little salt and sourdough leaven can make these beauties!
Feeling empowered and accomplished right now!
And for all of my friends and Mom whom have mastered this a long time ago… thank you for keeping me going!🙌🏽🥰
